Mmmm, the smell of fresh baked bread. This vintage French ‘Boulangerie’ Bread Basket is made of wicker & linen/hemp. Hailing from a French bakery (or boulangerie), this vintage proofing basket was made in France and used to help keep dough’s shape & structure while rising.
Perfect aged patina made by years of making bread. Heavy hand sewn linen linings are darkened by years of heated baguettes, and the edges are perfectly tattered & worn, ensuring that each one is unique. Approx. 11" diameter x 4" deep.
Condition commensurate with age and use - darkened and weathered inside, and some wear and tear to lining all brings charm and character. Sold separately.
